The serum is the richest step of our immortelle range: the Immortelle Hydrosol is a light refresher and first step, the Immortelle face cream is everyday care, and the oil serum is for when the skin asks for more, in the evening or in colder months. Hydrosol, then serum or cream; all three if you like.
Ingredients that make the difference
Immortelle macerate carries what immortelle is valued for in the care of mature and tired skin. Calendula has been known for generations as a gentle, soothing ingredient. Squalane is a light oil very similar to the skin's sebum, so it absorbs without a greasy film, and vitamin E rounds off the formula.

Frequently asked questions about the immortelle oil serum
How do you use the oil serum?
In the evening, on clean skin: warm 2–3 drops between your palms and gently press into the face, neck and décolletage. It sits best on slightly damp skin: hydrosol first, then the serum.
Serum or cream: which to choose?
Not rivals but a pair: the cream is everyday care, the oil serum the richer step when the skin is dry, tired or weather-worn. Many use it only in the evening, the cream in the morning.
Is it too heavy for combination skin?
Squalane is a very light oil that absorbs quickly, so the serum leaves no heavy, greasy film. Combination skin usually prefers it in the evening, in a thinner layer.
What is squalane?
A plant-derived oil very similar to the skin's natural sebum, which is why it absorbs so well and the skin takes to it readily. It gives the formula its light, silky texture.
