Sage Hydrosol is a light botanical water for everyday refreshing, toning and care of the face and body. After application, skin looks fresh and more balanced, with no greasy or sticky layer, and the green herbal scent of sage leaves an impression of cleanliness. It's best suited to oily and combination skin that dislikes heavy textures.
What Sage Hydrosol is used for
- A natural facial toner – after cleansing, it restores a feeling of freshness and preps skin for serum, oil or moisturizer.
- Oily and combination skin – the light watery texture doesn't weigh skin down, so even a T-zone that gets oily quickly looks more balanced.
- A refresh during the day – a quick botanical break on warmer days, after time outdoors or a shower.
- Body care – use it on the neck, décolletage or back whenever you want a light botanical refresh.
- A simple routine – one product with several ways to use it, no complications.
Sage in a milder, water-based form
Sage is known for its intense herbal character, and in a hydrosol it comes in a milder, water-based edition. The scent is green, fresh and naturally herbal, with no sense of heavy perfume. It leaves no oiliness or noticeable layer on the skin, just a clean, refreshed face.
The hydrosol range: lavender, immortelle or sage?
Each hydrosol in our range has its own character. Lavender flower water is the soothing choice for sensitive and dry skin, Immortelle Hydrosol is chosen for anti-aging care of mature skin, and Sage Hydrosol is the choice for oily and combination skin. If your skin gets oily quickly and you love a feeling of cleanliness, sage is your hydrosol.

Frequently asked questions about Sage Hydrosol

Is Sage Hydrosol good for your face?
Yes, it's used as a natural facial toner. It suits oily and combination skin especially well: the watery texture doesn't weigh skin down, and after applying it your face looks fresh and more balanced.
Can I make sage hydrosol myself?
With the right equipment, a hydrosol can be distilled at home too. A shop-bought one, though, offers consistent quality from batch to batch and a preservative for shelf life (homemade water without one keeps for a very short time).

Choose lavender for soothing care of sensitive and dry skin, immortelle for anti-aging care of mature skin, and sage when you're after a refresh and a feeling of cleanliness on oily or combination skin.
