DIY Face Mask with Just Two Ingredients!
DIY Face Mask Recipe
A day off is a great day to do something for yourself. Preparing for warmer days and the sun that comes with it, here is a quick DIY face mask recipe that you can make at home for a refreshing skin treat. Using readily available ingredients, you can prepare it once a week and know exactly what you are putting on your skin.
Ingredients:
- Half a fresh cucumber
- Aloe vera (if you have the plant, great; if not, you can use our aloe vera gel which contains 97% aloe vera)
- Honey (optional but beneficial addition)
Preparation:
- Peel half of a small cucumber and mash it using a small blender or manually in a mortar.
- Add 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel to the cucumber mash and mix well.
- Apply the mixture to clean skin. If the mixture is too watery, place gauze over it to keep it in place and leave it on the skin for at least 15 minutes.
- Optional: Add a small teaspoon of honey to the mixture for additional benefits. Honey is known for its moisturizing and antibacterial properties.
Usage:
This mask should be used immediately after preparation. There is no need to refrigerate it or reuse it; use what you have prepared. Try this mask once a week for the best results.
