The foam comes from mild plant-derived foaming agents (Coco Glucoside, betaine and natural soaps), so there are no SLS or SLES sulfates. Sulfates strip oil aggressively and can dry skin out; milder foaming agents cleanse thoroughly, and glycerin helps keep skin from feeling tight. There is also niacinamide, a form of vitamin B3, so skin looks more even and cared for.
