Did Your Products Arrive Warm? Don't Worry, That's Perfectly Normal.
Summer temperatures can get really high, and during delivery, our products often spend several hours in vans or parcel lockers that aren't air-conditioned. That's why it's quite possible for your package to arrive warm to the touch.
This doesn't mean something has happened to the product or that it has lost its quality. Our products contain appropriate preservatives that protect them even in these summer conditions, so there's no need to worry.
Pick Up Your Package as Soon as Possible
If your package arrives at a parcel locker, I recommend picking it up as soon as you can. Don't leave it sitting for a day or two, especially during the summer heat. The less time it spends in high temperatures, the better.
What to Do When You Receive Your Package?
The most important thing is not to put the warm products directly into the refrigerator. A sudden change in temperature isn't ideal for natural formulations.
It's best to leave the products at room temperature for about 24 hours to allow them to gradually return to their natural state.
After that, you can place them in the fridge if you like. Many people enjoy chilled hydrosols, aloe vera gel, or creams during the summer because they provide an extra refreshing sensation.
What If a Butter or Balm Has Softened a Bit?
This is also completely normal. Natural butters and balms react to high temperatures and can become softer than usual.
In most cases, simply waiting for the product to cool down to room temperature is enough. If it's still too soft, feel free to place it in the refrigerator for a short while to help it regain its firmer texture.
In a Nutshell
- A warm product in the summer is completely expected.
- There's no need to worry, as high temperatures during transport won't spoil the product.
- If your package has arrived at a parcel locker, pick it up as soon as possible.
- Leave the products at room temperature for about 24 hours.
- Only after that should you cool them, if desired.
- If a butter or balm has softened, this doesn't affect its quality. If needed, place it in the fridge briefly to help it firm up again.
And finally, be gentle with your products too. It's summer. Just as it's hot for you, it's hot for them. Give them a little time to adjust to room temperature, and they'll be ready for you to use.
