Comfrey ointment — almost miraculous again

We bought the comfrey ointment again, guided by last year's near-miraculous results — I had used it after hallux surgery and it worked better than expected. This time we decided to use it on my husband's scar from open-heart surgery in the 7th month of this year. The incision on his chest is quite large — over 30 cm — and the sternum was cut and later wired back together.
