Lavandin hydrolat and shea butter

The lavandin hydrolat is excellent — one of the best I've tried. However, the shea butter every time I order arrives already slightly rancid with a mildly unpleasant smell. I know shea butter is sensitive to temperature, but it wasn't at its best this winter or the last delivery either.
