A day off is a great day to do something for yourself.
In preparation for the warm days and the sun that comes with them, I bring you a quick DIY recipe for a face mask that you can quickly make at home and get a refreshing treat for your skin.
With readily available ingredients, you can prepare it once a week and know exactly what you are putting on your skin.
What do you need?
Half of a fresh cucumber and aloe vera (if you have a plant, great, if not, you can use our aloe vera gel which contains 97% aloe vera)
Peel half a small cucumber, make a puree out of it using a small blender or by hand in a mortar, add 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel, mix well and apply to clean skin.
If the mixture is too watery, place a gauze over the mixture to hold it in place and leave it on the skin for at least 15 minutes.
Also, what goes well with this mask is honey, you can add a small teaspoon of honey to the mixture, the benefits of honey for the skin are great, it can be just a bonus.
You will see how just 15 minutes are enough for the skin to recover and look fresh and "plumpy".
This mask is not for storage, once you use it, you use it, do not keep it in the refrigerator for days and do not reuse it.
Let me know your impressions when you try it out!
